The boxes are designed to be right other manufacturers have started with a cheap material (they don’t give thickness) and designed a work around, we started with 1.2mm galvanised steel steel (more information on galvanised) because its structurally sound we also double fold each seam, we were surprised when the quality item that we produce actually works out cheaper than the 0.5mm plastic coated ones that are held together with self-tapping screws.

Fat boy 

Single door 5ft wide and 8ft long The unit on the website pictured with Triumph motorcycle is the deluxe at 9ft long extra room for rear rack and center stand parking.

Any height up to 6ft, with an entrance clearnce width of 1130mm makes this suitable for the widest machines and panniers. 

Extra length  is £100 per foot Harleys usually need 9ft 

Wooden structural floor upgrade (£75) as per some of the pictures makes the floor so rigid can be sat on grass or gravel. Please see wooden floor page please note even though the weight is spread very loose gravel will settle and unit may need to be re levelled if this happens, if loose better to install pads to go onto firm ground.

    The picture above is my bike in my new man cave for my pride and joy. I am over the moon with the exceptional quality of this product and the customer service I received from Richard during the ordering process and the install at my home. The construction of my bike box is far superior to what I had initially expected. The thought process behind the engineering solutions to create this product is awesome. Being an engineer myself I can fully appreciate the time and effort that was spent on the research and development to create this fantastic product. If you treasure your bike then you should definitely invest in an Armadillo box. It will be money well spent and it gives me absolute piece of mind knowing that your bike is completely safe and secure.

    Hard to say anything that has not been said already, except it’s all TRUE. Richard and Josh are hard working perfectionists. I had 1001 questions which were answered fairly rapidly via email or vai phone. A design was chosen, delivered and fitted in about 2 weeks. I am so so impressed by the quality of this box. I am happy to leave my HD in there, dry, safe and secure. I added two van locks and the ground anchor. I looked around, there is cheaper, but the quality is just not there, I did my reviews. These guys have a great product that is extremely well engineered, of high quality and sold for a good price. Once built I even joked how did they make any money ?? that’s how good this box is built but these guys from scratch!! Thank you.
